Parody Song Title:

"Georgie with the Buck (He Passes)"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

America: Georgie with the buck, it goes too far.
Economy sucks, can't afford no car.
Got bloodshot eyes, he's lying tonight.
He's Georgie with the buck, he passes!

Keeps wasting Iraqis, can't find Saddam
couldn't protect us from Osama's harm
No bad weapons in that truck.
He's Georgie with the buck, he passes!

Bush: Can't blame me tonight. Can't blame me tonight.
I've given everything in sight appeasin' all the radical right.

America: Georgie with the buck, hey, it goes too far.
Economy sucks, and we can't afford no car.
Got bloodshot eyes, he's lying tonight.
He's Georgie with the buck, he passes!

Bush: Can't blame me tonight. Can't blame me tonight.
I've given everything in sight appeasin' all the radical right.

America: Georgie with the buck, hey, who you working for?
A circus of horrors, yeah, hey, that's what you are!
You team made economic crashes.
And we will throw out your asses!
So the last two lines don't rhyme. I'm stickin' with 'em.

Rest in peace, John Fred Gourrier. The leader of John Fred and His Playboy Band died on April 15. He was 63. The Louisiana native heard the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," thought it was "Lucy in Disguise with Diamonds," thought it was a better title, and wrote "Judy in Disguise with Glasses." It was the band's only Top 40 hit, but it hit Number 1 early in 1968. Gourrier used the name "Playboy Band" because "Jerry's real kid" was already using the name Gary Lewis & the Playboys. No word on whether JDG was the initials of a popular drug in the Sixties or whether John Fred took it.
