Parody Song Title:

"Salma, Janet, Catherine"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I don't care who did the original song on Broadway first. I'm going with Jay Black's 1965 smash.
(Once they confound you
cannot let them go.
Once they confound you
can... not... let... them... go!)

Salma, Janet, Catherine
to them, I'm a stranger
to them, I'm a stranger
across this crowded world.
And somehow I knew
somehow I knew even then
that I'd be rejected again and again!

Uma, Milla, Alba.
(Uma, Milla, Alba.)
Each one found a stranger.
Each one found a stranger
and now their families in bloom.
And night after night
as strange as it seems
they're only available
in my dreams!

(Salma, Janet, Catherine)
(to them I'm a stranger)
Ohhhh...
(to them I'm a stranger)
across this crowded world.

I'd run to her arms
and make her my own!
If only they did not
leave me
alone!

(Once they confound you
cannot let them go.
Once they confound you
can... not... let... them... go!)

(instrumental fadeout)

Very good Michael! Just how is your surname pronounced? Is it pronounced Pa-CHO-lek or Pa-SHOE-lek? Ive heard both versions, just wondered which one is correct. 555 anyway.

In case anyone's wondering, "Janet" is Jackson -- at least check, has neither had a baby nor is about to, but is pretty much off the market. Jason: It's Pa-CHO-lek, but most people say PATCH-o-lek. Answer Girl: I'm afraid you've provided a question instead. Is that supposed to be unscrambled or something? Or are you actually our own dear Arwen, speaking Elvish?
