Perfect. I know this OS well, was a big Pitney fan in the 60s. I even knew a guy who used to perform it melodramatically at parties. It was a toot, er, hoot! And so was this. 555s. Must check out some more of your Gene-ious.

I too was a big fan, and was very pleased to do the multi-tributes to Gene Pitney, even though it was a bit of an effort to write eight parodies at the rate of one or two a day for a week straight, in addition to the already-planned posts. Thanks for read/v/c, and of course I look forward to your commentary on the other Pitney tributes (as with all else) whenever you care to do so.

Incidentally, Airfarcewon (AFW) and TT found the same Pitney OS and same title switch to tribute Pitney on the first posting day after his demise. (Fiddlegirl and TT had the same thing happen after the Henry Louis Gates incident, which was actually a first step in our eventual joining of forces.)
