Original Song Title:

"Tomorrow"

Original Performer:

From Broadway show, "Annie"

Parody Song Title:

"Tom Morrow"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

The Lyrics

Audition went fine,
Tom Morrow,
On "American Idol"
Sang of sorrow..
Teardrops fell..

He had that star shine,
Tom Morrow,
Told he'd fly to Hollywood,
Tomorrow..
Done so well..

His plane flew away,
To L. A.
Next morning..
But the cold hand of fate
Touched his plate,
That day,
Oh!

The plane crashed outside
Chicago
Not long after leaving
From Wilkes Barre, oh
Sad to say

Tom Morrow, Tom Morrow,
They'd love ya' Tom Morrow
But won't hear you,
Sing and play

Tom Morrow, Tom Morrow
Our heads hang in sorrow
In Heaven
You'll star
Today...

Great as always, AFW! Great pun on the name and song title! But the news will be continuously sad Tom Morrow. Wish that I could know him very well. Sorry I haven't been here much to comment. Anyways, here's 555.

I may be the only person in America (or anywhere else) who's never watched the show... Is this a true story? How very sad. :( (You write such beautiful eulogies in song.)

Great job. I had a biology teacher in high school named Tom Morrow, who couldn't stand me and once made a joke to the effect of "Class, should we dissect Andria Kilgore, now that we've done earthworms, frogs and fetal pigs? I repeat, should we dissect Andria?" I complained, and got the guy fired.
BR> This parody was sad but still a fun read, and I'll give you 5s.
