I take my blonde wig off
It made me look like Farah Fawcett

I've pulled off this charade
I've noticed many men look my way
Boy could I ever kiss

The kind who always tried to cop feels

I planned each day's attire
I matched up shoes with little handbags
But here's what makes me laugh

Yes, there were times, as you might guess
I didn't fit right in a dress
Like when a neckline was too low
I couldn't let my chest hair show
I had the curves to match my nerves
I hit it my way

I've loved being a gal
It's nice when you can do the choosing
But I'll admit I found
Those pantyhose so unamusing

To think I pulled this off
For oh so long, not in a shy way
I even shaved my hands---
I hid it my way

Now I'm a man, a man again
A little stubble on my chin
Quite a relief, I'd say I feel
Especially when I must kneel
The record shows I wore those hose
I hid it my way!
