~ ~ ~ {Peg-leg - Limping unevenly down a plank} ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ {Wind - Hard against the sails on a dark, ominous, stormy night} ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ {Ocean - Waves crashing against the hull of the ship} ~ ~ ~

Took a while for me, now I understand
That Pirate ships at sea are something to avoid, for sure
I ain't kidding

~ ~ ~ {Seaman staring out anxiously at the open sea...then...} ~ ~ ~

I could see as their boat approached
it flew a Pirate flag
Think I am doomed here; won't help to plead
It appears to me - I'm done

~ ~ ~ {Pirate ship appears quickly and pulls alongside} ~ ~ ~
~ ~ {Pirates board vessel and overwhelm the helpless crew} ~ ~

“Har-har”, he said as I start to blubber
“Aye, soon enough ye'll be cut and bled; fed to the sharks
Aye, ye'll be fish feed
Ye won't wish to be alive”

~ ~ ~ {Pirate Captain standing tall on the bridge, smiling broadly} ~ ~ ~
~ ~ {His Crew - now in position, readying their newly acquired bounty to sail} ~ ~

Pirate ships in these waters rule the sea; most cruelly
I'm freaked because these Pirates have captured me
Mean, cruel and vicious men who kill with glee
I doubt that when they are through I'll be living

~ ~ ~ {Black “Jolly Roger” flag is raised} ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ {Ship starts moving swiftly towards yet another Merchant Vessel} ~ ~ ~

“Har-har” laughed the Pirate who heard my cries
“Soon ye remains they'll sink to where Davey Jones lies
When ye get there tell ‘im I said ‘Hi'
Laughin' hearty, aye; when he hears this”

~ ~ ~ {Pirates - Chuckling & Chortling; Partying & Carrying on loudly up on the deck} ~ ~ ~
~ ~ {distant, haunting laughter rising up from the deep} ~ ~
~ ~ {Wind rages & Rain pounds down as the Storm grows over the sea}~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ {All this goes on for quite a long while} ~ ~ ~ ~



“Hoy”, the Pirate said, then he gestured grand
“Have ye wealth or jewels to lay in me hand?
If ye do, then we might spare ye, man
If ye don't, Har - ye'll be leaving”

~ ~ ~ {The Storm has grown even more ferocious} ~ ~ ~

~ ~ {but then finally begins to recede} ~ ~

Then with a big grin
the Pirate came and grabbed me by both of my shoulders
