We watched the potent masses surrender their power...
The Constitution protectors were no longer of governance...
Only We, The People left to assault the tower...

The Tower of the dark skinned one who thought he'd rule us all!!

We saw inside there some of them worth saving....
But the leaders were all dead...in purpose at least for years..
Leaving only dreams of proper governance that we were craving....

Where went the Constitution, the rightful law of the land?
And the SCOTUS that swore to protect it, they have bloodstains on their hands
As the Bill of Rights was assailed and our hard won freedoms were damned...

Bleary eyed and sulking, as I recall when I did see...
A worn and faded Mother Teresa icon...
She lived her life as she said; no riches did she accrue
It was of her that I decided to carry on...

I finally felt a cleanliness (Though I don't believe in God)
Because she ministered to those of Mosque, Temple or Synod..
And if she truly trends...I will gladly give her a nod....
