Come you Bastards in DC
You that pass all the laws
You that enforce all the mandates
Whether needed or flawed
You that hide behind falsehoods
You that hide behind lies
I just want you to know
that it's you I despise...

Again you've done nothin'
But it's what you do best!
You've mortgaged this country
to the point of distress!
You have poisoned this land!
as you lie to the press...
And you turn and run farther
When there's yet more excess...

Your kind's never changed...
You lie and deceive
You work for the people!
what you want me to believe
But I see jaded eyes
And I see ossified brains
Whoever would put trust in you
is wholly insane....

You'll fix what is wrong...
I will call you a liar!
The problem is you!
and your political empire!
You wait for your pension!
that is, if you retire!
But I see only the misdeeds
to which you have aspired....

You have filled us with fear
that won't abate soon!
We have a Republic!
you'd reduce it to ruins!
For threatening our freedom
I can feel the chains....
You ain't worth the blood
That runs in your veins.

And who in hell am I
that curses what you do?
You're a cancer on my vision
and my enemy, so true!
You could do us a favor
if you were so inclined....
step down from your thrones
and fade from our minds...

Let me ask you one question
if you bother to hear...
the FF's never said politics
should be a career!
I think we will find
When your demise is called...
that you sold your soul
to walk Congressional halls...

And I hope that you leave
the halls of power quite soon!
I will follow the news.
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch you depart
for your own neighborhood....
And I'll stand a vigil
