The Lyrics

For the Obama administration, Democrat and Republican Senators and House members etc.....
Some watered down people, forever on loan
Won't admit what the fathers, below ground had known
That deception is doomed, to be fenced all alone
So is time you use on earth fakin'
So you're better off spinnin', cause you stink on your own
Oh, some minds they need a-changin'

Some fire bound misfits, who fantasize with their pens
Can tweet the white lies, their clan just can't send
And still sing the tune, that the DJ's still spin
Cause they're not tellin' you that they're flamin'
And it's truer now than it was way back when
Oh, some minds they need a-changin"

Some senators, congressmen, forsee the fall
They stand in the doorways, like clocks on the wall
For us that get hurt, are the ones who lose all
Still we battle the tide of their makin'
But we'll soon shake their windows, and vibrate their walls
Oh, some minds they need a-changin'

Some plotters and squatters, throughout this land
They can't justify, what they take from our hands
The sons of the squatters, come around to demand
The border be rapidly fadin'
We get stalled on a new one, while they just wash their hands
Oh, some minds they need a-changin'

Our line has been drawn, our force is held back
We'll show you how, our waiting can't last
Lies you're tellin' now, remain in your past
The border's still rapidly fadin'
Americans now, will someday eat last
Oh, some minds they need a-changin'

An excellent twist of TOS; Bob said "go" to social change and you say "whoa!"

I like this one a lot. Holds onto the angry tone of the original only this time from a right wing point of view. The lines about the squatters are especially fitting.

Keen sense of irony there, Randeroo, throwing Dylan's iconic song about change right back in the faces of boomer leftists, who have become the very thing they claimed to despise about the WWII generation -- rigid, hidebound and intolerant

Thank You very much!

You want minds changing? You got Mitt Romney, who changes his mind every day. Stick with Barack Obama, who knows you can't fix eight years of damage from right-wing stupidity in only four years.

That's actuallly not a bad point, Mike (well, first part, anyway) Reminds me of a joke. A liberal, a conservative and a moderate walk into a bar. The bartender takes one look at the situation and says, "What are you doing in a bar, Mitt."
