The Lyrics

I'll try not to hex any of you here... ;-D
Voodoo doll, You will get the point from me
Voodoo doll, You will get the point from me
Ea-aas-aas-aas-asy

I like my voodoo doll
Because it looks so much like you
(Ouchy, ouchy) (ouchy, ouchy)
Like my voodoo doll
Just think of what I can do to you
(Ouchy, ouchy) (Ouchy, ouchy)

I, twist it’s head around
(And then yours goes round and round)
I like my, voodoo doll
You will get the point from me
Voodoo doll, you will get the point from me

If you, treat me like, I am the world’s, biggest freak
I’ll just, twist it’s arms, at least until yours break
I like my, voodoo doll, you will get the point from me
Voodoo doll, You will get the point from me

(Instrumental Break….)

I, twist your legs around
(I guess that’s gonna let you down)
I like my, voodoo doll, you will get the point from me
Voodoo doll, you will get the point from me
(Ouchy, ouchy) (ouchy, ouchy)
(Ouchy, ouchy) (ouchy, ouchy)
Ea-aas-aas-aas-asy

I’m like a, witch doctor
When on my face once you did slap
(Ouchy, ouchy) (ouchy, ouchy)
Just a, witch doctor
I’ll twist the doll’s backbone till yours snaps
(Ouchy, ouchy) (ouchy, ouchy)
I’ll hold my, doll over a burning flame
(You’ll heat up just thinking of his name)
I love my, voodoo doll, you will get the point from me

Voodoo doll, You will get the point from me
Voodoo doll, You will get the point from me
Voodoo doll, You will get the point from me
Voodoo doll, You will get the point from me
(Repeat then fade….)

Let you do the voodoo that you do so well! (From the song lyrics of "You Do Something To Me" AND the script of "Blazing Saddles") Sacrificing three 5s and the blood of an unblemished chicken to perpetuate your mojo! ;D

You remind me of the man. What man? The man with the power. What power? the power of voodoo. Who do? You do. I do what? Remind me of the man. . . . Seriously, voo doo good work here.

John Barry-I really thank you for the vote and very, very nice complement you gave me especially the part that said "Seriously, voo doo good work here!" of course "voo doo good work" was a pun for you(meaning I ) do good work here. Coming from someone who has submitted exactly "2991" parodies so far, I consider that a really great compliment! :-) I have had some rough beginnings, and low vote scores, lack of comments, when I first started back in 2009, But since late 2010 and now in 2011, I seem to be doing exceptionally well! ;-) A BIG THANK YOU to everyone so far for all the votes and comments, that have been posted! I really enjoyed them all, and I'm having a great time here at amIright! :-) -WCJ-

Good luck in SOTM with this one. Nice title and good parody to back it up. 555

After seeing so many posts from you at inthe00s, I am happy to see you in competition. This was a good giggler, a worthy contender for SOTM (Which I definitely have no time for!) Critical section: 1. Bad rhymes are funny, if used sparingly. Freak/break *almost* pushes it to the limit. 2. Try to change your choruses, if possible. Good luck!

(SOTM) Yeah I agree with Agri here. Overall solid work to an off beat song that I never expected to hear. I'm relatively new to the contest circuit as well and variations in choruses actually does make a huge difference. Good first entry though.

SOTM : Nice work, something wasn't right about it, have to give you all 3's. OW! OW! Ok ok, all fives for you!

SOTM...it's a good thing that I don't believe in voodoo, or I'd kind of be afraid of you. Haha. Luckily for you, though, I can save you the work, as I often hurt my own self, regardless of what I believe...including breaking my own back. =)

Very clever and funny! I've been wanting to do a parody of Pink: "Who Knew" with the topic of "Voodoo" but never got around to it. I haven't seen your work before so it was refreshing to see somebody new in these contests.

My only really problem with this is it gets repetitive and it could use stronger rhymes. The easiest way to fix these problems is actually just to try to sing your parodies before finalizing them. This will usually catch simple rhyme errors where words look like they should rhyme but don't (such as break, freak which look like rhyming words but don't rhyme at all) and usually will sound the repetitive alarm (this to me is when you feel like you are beating a dead horse who is already rotted, decayed and is so dead it doesn't even smell dead anymore) Chorus Variation doesn't necessarily mean extreme variation: IE You could still use "Voodoo Doll" over and over, but simply alter the following lines to build on your story.

(SOTM) You've got voodoo, par'dy hoodoo, and I laughed until I cried! I'nd I've got Friends That'll Give You Fives! (Try changing choruses next time) (If you haven't seen Princess and the Frog this'll go WAY over your head, so basically: could've used some polishing variation-wise, but still very good, here's some 5's)

Thank be to all the votes and comments SOTM and the regular plain ones, that everyone mostly gets. I really appreciate all this feedback! :-) It really makes me feel proud, to know I've achieved such a funny, and enjoyable parody for you all! :-) Thank You Everyone!! :-) :-) -WCJ-

"Get the point from me" was one of the better puns I've ever seen and "ouchy ouchy" was a fun little juxtaposition. Only criticism is that "freak" and "break" don't actually rhyme.
