Parody Song Title:

"A Bio, Please"

Parody Written by:

Tommy Turtle

The Lyrics

Kevin Spacey co-wrote, directed, and played Bobby Darin in the 2004 biopic of the same name. OS lyrics here.. Midi here.
Somewhere, a bio, please
So all AmIRight sees
The brilliant mind that lies behind
These parodies grand that we're reading

Chuck G will gladly host
Your page; go 'head and post
Plus pic or two, a portrait true
Of you, author new, we are needing

It's par, for ev'ry star
Real soon, twenty-fifth tune
We know, beyond a doubt
We'll see your history soon!

We'll read biography
We'll scan, so breathlessly
Happy we'll be, each he or she
Have images we, not misleading

We'll know beyond a doubt
The brain sustaining each tune
Complete ... and yet discreet ... we'll know the score
And more: your lore, explore
Happy we'll be; your par-o-dy
And never again are we pleading

You're conceding....
Wishes, heeding....
We're proceding...
With each re-reading...
You're succeeding...

Is this request actually coming from the same guy who has nothing except turtle-ology in his bio? No name, hometown, facts, age, etc? I have to laugh.

nice biorhythms

I think we are better off being anonymous so we don't get sued. Parodies did get Mad Magazine in trouble once.

alvin rhodes, thanks (lol) ... 2Eagle, my sentiments exactly... would you minkdexplaining that to the first commenter? ... AFW (lol) thanks.

AmIWrong?: No, you are right. Although most parodies on this site, e. g. about sex with sheep, etc., are dead serious, this one is actually a little facetious -- sorry. Glad you laughed, which was the main purpose, and glad you looked at the bio, which was the ulterior motive :) :)

Sheesh, maybe I should have my bio removed and go under cover (like a turtle). Maybe then I'll write funny stuff anonymously too. 555

555. I'm with 2Eagle on the bio thing. Internet identity theft is legendary. No need to give bandits a head start by posting anything real on this site. Good parody, TT

DEE, See thread yesterday!!, and thanks!... Rick C, thanks; the downside is that no one knows where to send the checks lol.
