The Lyrics

In the event of something happening to me,
There is something that I kept for you to see.
They are the .jpeg's and the .gif's of ones I knew.

Have you seen my site, Mr. Jones?
Now you know what it's like to be denied.
Don't go yelling too loud, I long past have died, it's not known.

I'm maintaining my site for who's around.
Thinking someone can find my stuff profound.
I should have left a regular album instead,
Thinking my site is not listed and unread.

Have you seen my site, Mr. Jones?
Do you know my password have you yet tried?
Don't go yelling too much, you'll have to abide, it's not known.

In the event of something happening to me,
There is something that I kept for you to see.
They are the .jpeg's and the .gif's of ones I knew.

Have you seen my site, Mr. Jones?
Do you know my password have you e'en tried?
Don't go yelling too much, you'll have to abide, it's not known.

Great job, Adagio, 5's, and I can relate - the first time I put up a personal website on Verizon (my DSL provider), it disappeared in about a week!

Adagio - I'm sure I must have heard this original song, I keep seeing it on entries and passing 'cause I just don't remember it at all. Never was too much of a BeeGees fan, although I do know some of their tunes. Maybe if I hunt up the original lyrics on the web I can place it in my head. I'll see if "Leoslyrics" maybe has them...

I know the tune well and I have done several parodies on it myself. This is great, Pat. Keep up the good work!

Oh, and Paul, this is a very different sound for them...they harmonize almost like Simon and Garfunkel (sp). This was pre-disco era, before they sounded like 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'. I never liked that sound either, but I really like this song.

Adagio, I'm having trouble with the sound on my PC but I looked up the lyrics and they scan perfectly so I'm going 5-5-5. Nice job...Kind of a spooky original song and your piece matches the tenor of that. It's more than a little spooky for me to think about...My brother David passed away in November 2000 and I think his web site is still up. His daughter (my niece) has been maintaining it the last I heard and was trying to get some of his music linked into it. Unfortunately the cassette tapes he left of his stuff was not done on very good equipment and was somewhat rather worse for wear on top of that, so I don't know if she was able to put any of it up. This reminds to check with her about that, I'm seeing her and my nephew this Sunday evening.

Sorry for your loss, Paul.

Adagio, Well, it has been a while, now...you dwell for a while and then you move on, or rather life and the world move on and they take you along with them. While our interests differed in many ways our sense of humor seemed to be nearly synchronized. Quips, puns, parodies, double-triple-quadriple entendres...quite often in rapid-fire bursts back & forth interrupted only by our cackling laughter...The last couple years he was really engrossed with this non-verbal communication concept called "Glide", which was WAY over or beyond my thought processes. His site used hyper-text links from his writings to these symbols and I was totally clueless as to what it all meant. So I haven't gone there too much...

Glide...sounds interesting.

Adagio, that was clever use of a hard song to work with, so well done
