LIDDON ROAD

In Liddon Road there is a family at number eight,
They're doing many different things throughout the day.
And both the boys are still here in May,
And they're here to stay!

In the office we have Kathryn working all the hours,
She works each day from early morning until five.
And she tries to keep herself alive
With her cups of tea, can't you see.

Liddon Road is where they've lived for many years,
Doing what they can with their careers
To date, and meanwhile back

In Liddon Road we have young Marc who's home from Loughborough,
He's doing well with sitting finals there on line.
And although each paper takes some time
He is doing fine.

The older son who worked in London came to work from home,
Chris thought the village would be better than in town.
And it's nice to have him around,
Though it's very strange.

And in the house we have the father writing parodies,
As he's the only one not working, that's our Glynn,
And when he's thirsty he just loves his gin,
With an ice and slice, very nice!
