The Lyrics

I'd better make this a good one, because I think I've now written more parodies for that OTHER magical lady who's far less in my life than THIS one is! Now, all you backing musicians, especially you guys on the horns, you'd better make this one sound good! And a one, and a two...
(drum opening)

Fighting soldiers from the sky.
Fearless men... who catch her eye.
Loyal pledged... forevermore.
These brave men... of the Arwen Corps.

Some have points... upon their ears.
Hair on feet... some grew for years.
One hundred men... bow at her door.
Sworn loyalty... to the Arwen Corps.

Trained to live... in Middle Earth.
Or Wyoming... land of mirth.
Defend the land... then scrub her floor.
Strong-armed men... of the Arwen Corps.

Diesel strength... just hear them zoom.
Fight for her... their love in bloom.
One hundred men... bow at her door.
Sworn loyalty... to the Arwen Corps.

Back at home... the young Elf waits.
And she eats off... her gold-rimmed plates.
These men fight... like men obsessed.
Hoping she... grants this request:

Hear ye my heart... pound in my chest.
Make me the one... that you love the best.
I'll be your prince... forevermore
and command... the Arwen Corps!

I love the OS and your funny treatment/tribute! (and by-the-by, I'm *pretty* confident it wasn't Arwen who laid those 1's on you!)

Why'd some cretin have to throw in an all-ones vote? That's uncalled for.

Just doin' it all for "my baby," 'cause she's as fine as she could be. (And I know you love Huey, too.) As for the One Guy, maybe he's after the One Ring... You'll never get back your precioussss! I was a little nervous, though... I thought for a moment it said "Dubya Tee ELF". Now THAT would have been uncalled for! So, to all ye men of the Arwen Corps: Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow... We rake her yard!
