The Lyrics

Anyone that loves the '70s tv series "Kolchak the Night Stalker" should remember Ep.111 where "something" is feasting on the elderly in Roosevelt Heights. It is a Rakshasi creature that can shape-shift into someone you trust. Didn't work against Kolchak when it appears as his mother. With blessed crossbow bolt aimed, he fires and it hits the beast which is revealed. My favorite episode of the series. Raksahsi is the female form of Rakshasa (FYI)...
It's been a long time since you came around
Been a long time, but Kolchak's around
Looks like you've been searching for some food
You can't always trust what you see, no
A monster shape-shifter can be anyone at all
Looks like you've been searching for some food

Kolchak will send you back where you belong (hell)
Can't let you kill the elderly being feasted on
Now where can this creature be?
In Roosevelt Heights... is where we might meet

Something, something about this beast
Something 'bout the stripped flesh that it tears apart and eats
Something, something about the way it looks and lies
Yeah something about, the beast, Rakshasi

Just waiting around for you to show,
Kolchak will try to kill you, because he's no fool
Crossbow will drive a bolt straight through your heart
This shape-shifting trust routine is getting old
You might create fear, but Kolchak is bold
This time he's all about killing you
Oh-oh, oh-oh, yes he will

Kolchak will send you back where you belong (hell)
Can't let you kill the elderly being feasted on
Now where can this creature be?
In Roosevelt Heights is where we might meet

Something, something about this beast
Something 'bout the stripped flesh that it tears apart and eats
Something, something about the way it looks and lies
Yeah something about, the beast, Rakshasi

Rakshasi
A morphing lie
A morphing lie
Time for it to die
Rakshasi
A morphing lie
Oh yeah!
It will die
Dreaded Rakshasi

C'mon!
Forget your talk! (Lies)

Kolchak's on the bloody trail through the slain residents
Got a crossbow and a bolt that is blessed
He's gonna need it, he intends to take your life
Can't trust anyone close or he will pay the price

Something, something about this beast
Impending fear
But he's the Night Stalker, born to hunt you down
Gonna hunt you no matter what it takes
Something, something about just knowing when it's right
Fight to the death, he's gonna kill ya
He's gonna put an end to what you do

Rakshasi
A morphing lie
Time for you to die
Dreaded Rakshasi

Rakshasi
A morphing lie
His mother? Another lie!
Crossbow bolt now flies!

It's been a long time since you came around
Been a long time, but Kolchak's around
Looks like Kolchak killed you now for good!
