The Lyrics

Was originally gonna do a parody about plastic surgery, but I could do a lot more with this one...Original song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4ZKlT1EvCA
Born as a fatty, I was raised with hell
A husky child, made the classmates yell
“He’s so forlorn, man he can’t even run”
My town never stopped poking their fun

My new pants size is a zero
I finally made it as a dieting hero

21 calorie chowdown
Eat half a grape, but can’t wash it down
I’ve finally lost my massive thunder thighs
Now a seven inch perfect size waistline

I was eating poisonous food
Empty sugars that made me feel no good
Eating portions, oh so very small
Walk down the street, have no shadow at all

My new pants size is a zero
I finally made it as a dieting hero

21 calorie chowdown
Cucumber juice then I must lie down
I weigh less than the scale that I stand on
I also gain half a pound when I yawn

Thanks to this diet, I don’t like to eat
Only consume things like bread crumbs and seeds
Twenty one calories each time I dine
When I go crazy, I might have twenty nine

Friends say I’m boring
And I’m no fun
They sit and just roll their eyes

I’m the one laughing
They eat what they want
And stuck with cottage cheese thighs

We are a nation
I would call deep fried
I laugh as their bellies grow

I stand behind lamp posts
And watch all my friends
“Where did that skinny guy go?”

I swallowed my pride
And a pound I did gain
When there’s a strong wind I just float
No chicken fingers
Never touched my teeth
Cause they are wider than my throat

Eat one lemon wedge
And then I’m set for days
And flour just widens my frame
I sit in my living room
Spending my time
Thinking ‘bout the good old days

Someone help me
Need Wendy’s right away
This size just is not for me
I can’t waste more time...

“Oh eat, you skinny boy, eat
There’s no need to sleep
Stuff your face till dawn

Oh eat, you skinny boy, eat
Until you can’t see
your feet or your palms”

I liked this one a lot more than Dave's parody of this same song a few days ago, because this one was actually really funny. A fat kid decides he wants to be skinny and the skinny guy decides that he would rather be fat. Clever story and a great original song to parody

Your parody "Weighs" heavy with great creativity & imagery. Unfortunately, this was 555 lbs "gained"!!!

555 calories here. And this is coming from a Green Day megafan!

Very funny, with an orginal idea. I don't think anyone has written a parody bragging about how skinny they were!

(ABC S/T) That's what I should've done last summer. I could've fit i my bikini. 555 calories worth of fun there! Yeah, I got to set up my own program, too. I need to get lots of brown rice, cottage cheese, and salads...or maybe follow the T-COP weight program like Jenny Craig. There were 2 overweight guys I went to school with and they were being teased about it, so we helped make healthy meals for those guys, such as yellow rice with veggies.

(ABC) Brilliant idea. "Weighed" well with me the first time around.

All in all great job on a difficult Green Day song (a rarity for them might I add) I liked the idea, I liked the execution, the rhyming was superb, on a funny scale somewhere in the middle, but good. . .one question--the album came out in 2009, the single was released in 2010, but would that be considered 2009 since that's when the song actually went on sale, or 2010. . .I don't care--decades don't really matter to me

ABC-ST

Abbott - Great clichés in this parody. The character in the parody sounds like he is so skinny that he has to run around in the shower just to get wet. Very entertaining read. Well done!

This parody is simply fantastic. Loved the way the guy's opinion swung around from "thin is fantastic" to "this is unnatural, GIMME MACCA'S". Or something like that. 555 calories for you! Also, are you referring to me there, Christie? Or is that some other TCOP that I'm unaware of?

Bugger, forgot to put (ABC5) before that last comment.

(ABC S & T) Very good, and amusing too. Glad the guy isn't resorting to the Cotton Ball Diet (google it, it's weird) or Shop-Vac liposuction to lose weight. I probably need to lose some, yet I get compliments on my shape despite pushing 200 pounds. 5s.

(Artistry) As the other guy in this round with a multisegmented Green Day song parody, may the best man win!

All I can see for this one is see above. Although that's actually kind of a rude comment so I don't agree with that this time because I like your parody and Dave's parody for this round. This was hilarious though especially the line: "When I go crazy, I might have twenty nine"

(Artistry) Sort of a "grass is always greener" idea with weight loss/gain... I LOVED IT! Amazingly funny, and magnificently written. WOW! Fav line, " I stand behind lamp posts, And watch all my friends, 'Where did that skinny guy go?'"

This is the diet you need to fit into a pair of skinny jeans! Funny song, and I liked the twist at the end once you get skinny

(Artistry) You handled a heavy topic lightly. Excellent concept, fun parody.
