The Lyrics

Beginning my assualt on the annoying boy bands of music starting with Getalife. The story really is when I was younger me and a few friends used to hang around giant mud banks. Company was digging up a site and they created these huge bankings and we jump off them the landing was quite soft actaully but you got some serious air time. So one of us had the bright idea of ripping off these huge plastic bin lids off the site skips and used it as a parachute type thing well they were light and slowed you down considerably. This is a parody based on those events.
Everybody’s looking for a Bin Lid
That thing that makes it all so sweet
You’ll find them in the strangest places
Though mostly located in the street

Some tried it when they were just children
Somewhere that’s nice and way up high
Who can deny what joy it brings
When you just use the lid
Your flying without Bins

Some find it oh-so very boring
I say they need to get a life
Jumping right after one another
A massive bang can make you laugh or die

You end up in the deepest trenches
Jump with that lid hold on for life
And if you jump your full of beans
Feels like your born again
Your flying without bins

Not impossible as it may seem
You’ve got to land and avoid the trees
It’s quite a blow
Between your legs OWW
It really aint that sweet

Watch for me crash landing right beside you
I drop and fall flat on my face
The lid is supposed to stop you
From falling fast its not a race
It those little things that I forgot to
That stupid lid it broke my spine

Cos I was flying with bin lids
It was the strangest thing
Its flying without bins

And off a cliff my jump begins
And who knows where it ends
I’m flying without bins
And that’s the joy of it
I’m flying without bins

Haven't even tried flying with bins yet. My BFF and I are Westlife fans and while I like the OS, my friend loves every song of Westlife, except for this OS. Maybe I'll try flying with bins if I wasn't afraid of heights. 555's are flying towards you!

I haven't written other parodies yet, but still working on a few others. Right now, I have writers block and I'm giving myself time to think about what to write. Oh, and I haven't listened to boy bands for awhile since I was in high school. Maybe someday, I'll rip on them, the boybands.
