The Lyrics

Kataang version of Vive la Compagnie The song that we know today as Vive la Compagnie or Vive L'Amour can be traced directly to the 1844 version by Stephan Foster, however the melody goes as far back as Napoleon I. Even the British Navy had its own version of the song entitled Vive la Captain John. Sorry for all the ruffled Zutarian feathers. Actually, I would love to see if fans could come up with parodies of this song for all of the Avatar pairings (ZukoXKatara, SokkaXToph, SokkaXSuki, SokkaXYue, HaruXKatara, Foaming-Mouth-GuyXKatara, etc.) If anyone has any ideas, send them to me!
In the cave of two lovers we all were intrigued.
Vive la compagnie.
But we didn't see nothing; twas hard to believe.
Vive la compagnie.

Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive l'amour vive l'amour!
Vive la compagnie!

On the day of invasion Aang's lips got to play.
Vive la Compagnie.
"But it didn't look real!" great many would say.
Vive la Compagnie.

Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive l'amour vive l'amour!
Vive la compagnie!

This relationship Aang he would never refuse.
Vive la compagnie.
But poor dear Katara was always confused.
Vive la compagnie.

Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive l'amour vive l'amour!
Vive la compagnie!

Zutara and Tokka ye all have your fans.
Vive la compagnie.
But Aang and Katara they've got the romance.
Vive la compagnie.

Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive l'amour vive l'amour!
Vive la compagnie!

If the fans have their way, these two married shall be.
Vive la compagnie.
In Shyamalan's movie we'll see number three.
Vive la compagnie.

Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive la vive la vive l'amour!
Vive l'amour vive l'amour!
Vive la compagnie!
