The Lyrics

This is my first song parody, and it probably isn't that good. I have put misheard lyrics and stuff like that on this site before, but I used the name CRA-Z-4-U2. Now, I'm using the name Allicat, because, it's obviously a much better name. (Just to let you know CRA-Z-4-U2 and Allicat are the same person.) This parody is pretty random, and kind of pointless, but it's about someone who left the water running and now their house is flooded. As for Spanish translations: nadamos=we swim, es piscina=it's a pool (I'm not sure if that's how it exactly translates, but it fit, so I used it).
unos, dos, tres, nadamos!

Faucet's on, it's dark
I want to go to bed
I'm torn apart.
It's been such a long day, and so
I thought
I'd take a bath.
Through confusion
I just forgot
To shut the water!

Hello hello! (Hola!)
My bathtub just went overflow! (Es piscina)
My house is flooded and where will I go?
The water getting deeper I can feel, FEEL!

The tub is full of holes
As water fills the room
It feels so cold.
Can't reach the drain and I will drown, I'm told.
I know that I can't swim.
At least I know...

I couldn't find my towel
Found it on the deck.
When I got back inside
My house was such a wreck.
It was filled with water,
It was filled with water,
Oooh, ooh, ooh!

Hello hello! (Hola!)
My bathtub just went overflow! (Es piscina)
My house is flooded and where will I go?
The water getting deeper I can feel, FEEL!

All this flood, all this flood I don't want.
All this flood, all this flood I don't want.
All this flood, all this flood I don't want.
Just get the water out, and I won't get hurt.

Hello hello! (Hola!)
My bathtub just went overflow! (Es piscina)
Water comes out, and all that I know
Is that water gets deeper and

I can feel it all teaching me how,
The flood is teaching me how,
To be a seal, SEAL!

Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah!

Allicat, DKTOS (don't know the original song) so, I'm not supposed to vote but, I did find your parody funny so, I'm gonna give it 555 anyway. I do know alot of U2 songs, just not this one. Keep at it. It seems that, around here, the more popular the song, the more people will read it....Rick Cormier

Although parts of it are kind of random, this is pretty darn good, especially for a first effort. You should be proud, and keep it up, and you'll get even better! Great job, and welcome! 5s!

In my mind, an alternate "Vertigo" video played, containing all that was contained in this parody! Thank you for that experience, Allicat!

This was very good...I would have sang in the chorus, "Bathroom's filled with overflow..." but no matter. Creative with the Spanish words. Close enough for 555 from me.

Thanks for good comments! :) Water out, of the bathtub, all wet... If you're wondering what that is, it's the part I forgot to put in my parody. I can't believe I skipped part of the song, especially since I know all the lyrics to Vertigo! I always added in my comments if someone missed a part in their parody, now I missed a part of mine.

very good, a lot better than my Vertigo parody "Overplayed" 555 all the way

Thanks Abbot Skelding- your parody's better than mine is, I think. (Even if I don't aggree with yours) I'm planning on making my third parody on "Sometimes you can't make it on you own" and calling it "Sometimes I don't want to get the phone"...

Wow... I wrote this so long ago, it seems so old now, it used to seem so new! I will never write a better parody than this, I know.
