The Lyrics

This parody is about sweet bread (two words), aka doughnuts. It is NOT about sweetbread (one word), which is pancreas. Don't Know The Original Song (DKTOS)? It's on YouTube.
Yea yea it's sweet bread
You know it's...
You know it's sweet bread

I'm such a glaze head
And it's why I'm not thin
Fried up deep
Filled with jam

Golden brown
I'll take three-
Hundred more
You know it's...
It's hole-y sweet bread

As I eat my belly spreads
I'm so well-rounded
By the dough that I desire

I scarf 'em everyday
I hear Michelle
Obama disapproves

Can fill a hutch
With what I bought
I can never have enough
I'm so addicted
You know it's...
You know it's sweet bread
It's how I get fed

Flaky dough
Just like a dream
And behold
My plate is clean
Please bring new
If you're out
I can't cope

You know it's...
You know it's sweet bread
You know I'm gonna stuff my head
Forever eating
As they come out of the fryer

I feel my teeth decay
But doughnuts call
Into my mouth they move

My hands will clutch
'Em fresh and hot
I can never have enough
I knead my sweet bread

You know that I'm searching for everlasting glaze
Enchanted doughnut frosting that will never go away
If they were digital, well then I would give the nod
To download lemon doughnuts at about a billion baud
You know it's sweet bread

Some might say I'm so obsessed
Forever hunting
Forever hunting for my next
Boatload of sweet bread

I'll eat them all myself
Forever sated

I've confiscated
All of the sweet bread
I'm so desert-ed
And constipated

Yes, Homer would approve. My favorite part was the fast-sung "everlasting glze" stanza.

(Artistry) I'll bet lots of people wish they could download donuts. I'm personally holding out for downloadable muffins, but that's me. I didn't get the Michelle Obama line, but otherwise this was a really good parody, especially considering the shortness of the OS's lines. 555!

I too didn't really understand the Michelle Obama line. It was kind of left field but still this was a much kneaded parody that didn't cost you a lot of dough to write but still left me A-glazed at the work you put into itl

Interesting work, I have to admit if this one ever got recorded, I'd probably want to include the intro because it was funny reading it, particularly with the parenthesis. . .

(Artistry) Uh....... I don't know Rex. I think I woulda liked it better if we were talking about glazed pancreas, but hey, that's just my style. LOL! JK! Good job on this one.
