The Lyrics

The President claims that his health care proposal and other pieces of his agenda would have passed if he did a better job of explaining it to the public. I agree. It is so difficult to reduce these proposals to a bumber sticker message or a chanted protest slogan in the streets. At any rate, the tactics remain the same...or as he might advise aspiring young politicians today..... ;D

Give them the old blither blather,
Blither blather them!
Give them a speech with rousing rhetoric
And all the voters you will surely trick.
Give them the old high-toned verbage,
Oratory them!
Dazzling the public never was a crime.
Make sure you do not get specific
And crowds will think that you're terrific.
Blither blather them - and you'll win every time.

Give them the old nitter natter,
Promise everything!
Make lots of pledges, and you needn't fear
They won't remember them this time next year.
Give them a short catchy slogan,
Something they can chant.
Citizens shouldn't think - they just should SHOUT!
If you're a flashy organizer
None of the boobs will be the wiser.
Nitter natter them! It's what it's all about!

Give them the old mish mash trash talk,
Blame the other guys!
'Though I can charm them like an artisan
Nothing I do will be bi-partisan.
Give them the old double shuffle,
Lots of backroom deals!
It's politics in grand Chicago style.
Talk like you are a wise professor,
Just stick it on your predecessor!
Blind and bully them - just remember to smile!

(Instrumental break as Nancy Pelosi jumps to het feet)

Give them the old mumbo jumbo,
You can humbug them!
Tell them that up is down and they'll agree.
What are my plans? No need to view 'em.
They do not need to know - so screw 'em!
Blither blather them!
Nitter natter them!
Mumbo jumbo them!

(Drumroll)

'Cause it's all about ME!

Save me from myself. Somebody give me an apolitical subject to address. ;D

First of all, kudos for being the first AmiRighter to parody this OS. Secondly, excellent job of defining the attitude of the current POTUS (and most other politicians). The professor/predecessor couplet was my fave.
