The Lyrics

We all know the Rams that I am talking about
Well they were winners, but now they're losers
And the only question's when
Fans give up, And they'll give up, we know that without a doubt
Cuz they want winners, Super Bowl winners
And the Rams aren't doing that these days

And there's a question from every fan, we just don't understand

Why can't -- the Rams win another Super Bowl ring?
The fans get ticked off -- the pass was picked off
And the record keeps on sinking, it keeps on sinking

They have talent but they sure don't always play that way
The scrimmage line keeps getting backed up further every play
And no one seems to understand what coach is doing
And all the fans want is another Super Bowl ring

If it's drama you want, then look no further
The coach and QB and QB's wife, all saying different things
And they can't decide, it's Warner and then it's Bulger
He burns his timeouts early on
And then he goes for it on 4th and long

And there's a question from every fan, we just don't understand

Why can't -- the Rams win another Super Bowl ring?
The fans get ticked off -- the pass was picked off
And the record keeps on sinking, it keeps on sinking

They have talent but they sure don't always play that way
The scrimmage line keeps getting backed up further every play
And no one seems to understand what coach is doing
And all the fans want is another Super Bowl ring

In '99 the Greatest Show was playing really fine
Next year was OK but the playoffs didn't really shine
And in '01 we thought that they had the right stuff to get it done
But now the Super Bowl is over and they haven't won
And in '02 Warner kept falling out with injury
And in '03 there was this big QB controversy
In '04 - what can we expect?

We all know the Rams that I am talking about
We liked them last year, now it's this year
And the fans, they just don't care
And the sportswriters, they'll never figure Martz out
First they chuckle, and then they hide
And everyone has found despair

O Super Bowl ring, why are you torturing
The fans -- of St. Louis, Miss-er-y
Due to lack of emotion
Fans are losing devotion
And why, oh why, can't the Rams win a Superbowl one more time?

Whoever gave it a 1 either is rhytymically impaired or doesn't come from anywhere near St. Louis. I'd give the pacing a 4 1/2 but oh well.
