Well, this is going to have people sperg, or rheeee!!!, and get into a frenzy. It's a song about human rights gone wrong, and third world country apathy (or stupidity). I forget that the point of citizenship into another country, is that you don't try to break the laws of said country. Last time I checked, no central american country has diplomatic immunity over America. It does seem like a heavy-handed right side argument, but I'm inclined to think that these Central American citizens are not getting the complete picture. I don't see America as the "great land of opportunity" that is sought after any more, unless you want to opportunity to abuse government programs, via cultural diversity quotas. Mexico has 10 U.S. consulates in which asylum can be applied (if not time-consuming, less violent, and legal!!). This song is not a jab at the economic migrants who frequently travel across borders for business.

* = I would contend that there was some aspect of good governance when the Arab Spring protests wanted to change their system of laws (in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, for example), making strides for democracy. Now maybe there is a news story I'm missing, but what is the excuse for Guatemalans, Hondurans, and El Salvadorians, to not try and do the same thing in their own country? This idea should not have been confined to Arabic countries. I don't think the current leaders are killing they're own citizens. There does not seem to be any other countries invading those central american countries. No mention of a humanitarian crisis. If those leaders of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador are in no position to provide economic stability for their citizens, there is not one individual that would organize some kind of protest or have alternative solutions? Are frequent natural disasters an excuse to leave? Maybe. But those happen in most other countries, moving wouldn't change that. (see Iran after earthquake damage) Appeal for foreign aid not working? Also possible, but where does that money really go, when you send it to the 3rd world if not to the wrong people?
