The Lyrics

That word
Is made up, At least that’s my claim
“Quydrobaphore”
Is absurd! So look it up!
Before you get that massive score
You say… “It’s a food made by… The Dutch”
Well, That’s a lie!
You have no letters just to put down
And don’t cry
We are in a tournament!
And you got gonged!

You’re such a prick when you cheat at Scrabble
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)
You’re such a prick when you cheat at Scrabble
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)
Use it in a sentence! Or explain it’s meaning!
Cause you’re such a prick when you cheat at Scrabble!
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)

Your blunder
Made you take the walk of shame!
(Like Britney Spears)
Hope you learned
Every word and how it’s spelt
Like, “Chandelier”
You arrived
Back here at the Scrabble Scene
With brand new words
You hide
Extra tiles up your sleeve!
You stupid nerd!

Twice you’re kicked out, you’re a con at Scrabble!
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)
Twice you’re kicked out, you’re a con at Scrabble!
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)
We should have checked your pants cause you keep on cheating!
And twice you’re kicked out, you’re a con at Scrabble!
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)

Names… You have placed… In greed (Don’t cheat!)
Don’t shade blank squares in with red sharpie!
Playing might be hard (Concentrate)
“Canard” will earn a triple-word score
Think smart! Smart! Hey!

Spelling-Bee dorks make terms so tough!
Like that type of fish the “Namaycush”!!!

You’ve learned the trick to excel at Scrabble!
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)
You’re still a prick cause you cheat at Scrabble!
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)
Balls need a kick you still cheat at Scrabble!
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)
You are just a douchebag my lectures you’ve demised
And you’re such a prick when you cheat at Scrabble
(Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa)

I suck at Scrabble sometimes because all I can come up with are cheap words like "cat", "hen", and "are". That shows how good I am at scrabble. The only time I come up with the words like "vague", "trill", and "equate". Also Scrabble is an easy game to cheat sometimes. It's all good. Here's 555 bonus points!

AGES...the title alone was just HILARIOUS to me. Maybe it's because I DO have a friend who is a notorious cheater...and I just want to belt this out to her...hee hee. Overall, it's a fun parody...to a song I can't stand...but it's fun none the less. =)

(Ages2) I'll bet this guy'd be good at Scrabble World Wide on Facebook - that damn thing'll let you put in whatever gibberish word you want. Well, every gibberish word my sister wants...nothing I put in, though. Anyway, 555, blah blah blah.

Pretty clever stuff and some good "wordplay". YouTube removed the provided link, so I found a live performance. I'm unfamiliar with the song, of course. I found it hard to follow, but I gave your pacing the benefit of the doubt. A few good laughs. 5-4-5.

(Ages) Interesting parody, it was a fun parody. Though I must say you must be playing a unique version of scrabble to even get a 13 letter word down. . .pacing had a few spots that were rough for me, but interesting original song and good write.

I liked the idea Matty. You picked an obscure song...that's for sure. How many points for the use of "douchebag"?

(Ages) Funny song, even if you busted on my girl Britney! I liked the idea behind it, and some of the words.

Haha I love this!!! :)

The one thing that really impressed me in this is how you subbed the OS words into new 'sentences' (like "Use it in a sentence! Explain its meaning") that still matched the pace of the song. I actually looked up "Namaycush"; it would probably be judged invalid in competition, but extra brownie points go to you for looking it up anyway.

Reminds me of an episode of a short-lived Dilbert television series when Dogbert does that on Scrabble.

(ABC) A very specific topic for a parody, but you managed to make it relatable and still funny. I love Scrabble, I'm not a pro or anything, but I do love the use of a full vocabulary.

"If you're not ready to lose your friends over a board game, you're not playing hard enough!" I love the OS and this was a funny topic to go with it. Great job!
