Song Parodies -> "Paint"

Original Song Title:

"Faint"

Original Performer:

Linkin Park

Parody Song Title:

"Paint"

Parody Written by:

J.D. Parody (Winkin Shark)

The Lyrics

Yeah, sure, the song has nothing to do with Paint-but it's basically the theme song of "Reallyboreda".
Verse 1:
I Am
A little bit of nothing to do
I didn't bring my playing cards
All I can do is complain
Nearly go insane
To stand still is so hard
I Am
What I really want
What I really want to do
Is anything but this
Maybe some video games
Or a trip to the zoo
I let you know
You don't get the clue
You keep on looking at the view
Facing away and ignoring me
I wish I brought a discman
And a Linkin Park CD

Chorus:
It's unreal
Can't take this anymore
I know you're fed up with me
But I am really bored
I can't deal
I'll just walk out the door
No iteresting to me
I'm so really bored

Verse 2:
I Am
I little bit twitchy
Unable to take much more
'Cause you don't understand
I've done what I can
But in the end I'm really bored
I Am
Everytime I try to say
That I need something to do
It's like no matter how I try
I still wonder why
I can't get through to you
I let you know
You don't get the clue
You keep on looking at the view
Facing away and ignoring me
I wish I brought a disman
And I Linkin Park CD

(Chorus)

Bridge:
NO! HEAR ME OUT NOW!! YOU'RE GOING TO ENTERTAIN ME LIKE IT OR NOT! RIGHT NOW!! (Repeat)

I can't deal, or take this anymore, not interesting to me...
I AM REALLY BORED!!!!!

(Chorus)

I applaude all the people who have tried to do songs about painting with this song, but that's not what I was interested in. I was more interested in what I think at one point may have been a misheard lyric when I listened to the song. "I am really bored!". Plus it goes along with the title of my album (which was purely unitentional when I wrote the song. lol), Reallyboreda. Anyway, at least the pacing was "average" acording to the scale, although strangely whoever rated it found the humor and overallness to be laking. Oh well...

Hey J.D. I dont know who u r how old u r or what but let me give u some advice. Your choruses are not gold dude. u always say that. Somehow u think ur a pro at this makin an album (and winkin shark? what a gay name). So anywais what Im sayin is, if u really were this good, u would have, say, ur first 2 parodies on the direct Linkin park parody page (there are only like 10) which i do. I know several people on this site better than u (Bob Omara, Ethan Mawyer to name a few) so i think u should do evry1 n urself a favor and, well, dont take urself so seriously.

"Hey J.D. I dont know who u r how old u r or what but let me give u some advice." I'm 19, almost 20, although sometimes I act a lot younger. I've got ADHD, so I'm kinda 2 years (more or less) behind in maturity level. "Your choruses are not gold dude. u always say that. Somehow u think ur a pro at this makin an album (and winkin shark? what a gay name)." Winkin Shark is the best name I could come up with that rhymes with Linkin Park. Plus, the covers I've done (that you can see on the website) are pretty funny (or at least I and a handful of people seem to think). I don't think I'm a pro, I'm an amatuer, that's the fact, I don't make money doing this, and I'm not exactly educated in lyric-writing and sound-mixing, I'm really self-taught. Also, I'm not stuck-up or anything, just read songs like "Rotten", and you'll see I'm a little humble. I can't sing, I do this work for a handful of fans who think my work is good. "So anywais what Im sayin is, if u really were this good, u would have, say, ur first 2 parodies on the direct Linkin park parody page (there are only like 10) which i do. " Do you mean like the highest-rated LP parodies or something? Or do you mean the recordings? I don't have them posted right here, although some people have suggested that I do that. "I know several people on this site better than u (Bob Omara, Ethan Mawyer to name a few) so i think u should do evry1 n urself a favor and, well, dont take urself so seriously." I don't compare myself to other people, I tend to compare my works to previous works, to see if I'm improving or something. I try not to let myself be influenced by people who are supposedly "better", because I like to maintain my own style. As far as not taking myself seriously, well I take my comedy seriously, I guess...I'm really just obssessed with commenting on comments, or even just talking about what inspired things and all of that. As far as the whole "gold" thing, I was just saying something to the effect that lyrically, and this goes back to comparing myself to myself, lol. Anyway, I just mean to say that my Choruses tend to be better than the verses as far as pacing is concerned, and the humor or whatever. Anyway, maybe I DO take myself too seriously...-_-
