Ah...the joys of strip poker. Two brief explanations: the Earl of Sandwich is said to have helped invent the "meat between bread" meal so he would have a hand free to continue playing cards; "merde" (which rhymes with 'paired') is the French word for 'sh*t'.

If you know the song, the parenthesis are around the backup vocals that come in between the other lines. I couldn't find a good link to a version of the song. Sorry.

Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTQfERb9HVk. This was very funny, with some choice rhymes like "droppin'/ sloughin'", and "MERDE!". I also really liked what you did with the backing vocal lines. The Earl of Sandwich reference does seem out of left field, though.

Thanks, Agri. The Earl of Sandwich was a notorious card player who never wanted to stop playing. So, he had his cooks invent a meal he could eat with one hand while still playing cards..thus, the sandwich! And, in strip poker, you might agree, not having to stop to eat could be a good thing. (AmIRight Idol) Well this was a night and day type change and you really shocked me because I didn't expect something like this after your first round and the SOTM round I was in with you. The backing vocals in the middle were fantastic, and you had wonderful word play throughout. This song is a popular original song, and with your pacing and formatting here would be perfect for recording. If this song were to be recorded, I think it would be popular (my own Every Sunday comes to mind--but wasn't as funny) I commend you for this round.
