Rules of solubility,
Here’s the ones that are soluble;
Won’t solidify:
Ammonium, sodium, sulfate,
Chloride, potassium, nitrate,
Nitrate is always.

These solutions are all aqueous,
But there’s those annoying exceptions:
Mercury and silvah,
Also lead, I tell ya:
With chloride they are not friends.
For sulfate, notable:
Are lead, calcium, and barium.
Remember, hey, those were soluble,
Okay, fine, I’ll say it all again.

The salts in water that are soluble:
Sodium, chloride, and sulfate,
Also, potassium and ammonium,
Of course, our favorite is nitrate!

Rules of solubility:
Here’s the ones that are IN-soluble;
May solidify.
Also they’re known as just slightly
Since there’s no difference we can see,
We’ll say they same thing.

Sulfide, carbonate, and phosphate,
The exception one’s hydroxide:
Potassium,
And sodium,
With hydroxide they can’t abide.
Notice what they’re attached to
If you want to get it right.
Oh, that’s right, moderately soluble:
Barium, calcium on hydroxide.

The salts, in water, insoluble:
They’re hydroxide and phosphate,
Also known as slightly soluble,
There is sulfide and carbonate!
Rules of solubility,
From the 7.1 table,
I just sang it, right?
Ionic compounds in water,
That is at room temperature.
Temperature ture, ture, ture.

I haven’t yet said everything,
Apparently there’s more just like chlorine:
Bromide and iodide salts, you see
Were only shown on table 7.3!
