The Lyrics

This is about a famished man who is waiting in line at McDonalds, and his desire to plow through the other customers and get his lunch.
Signing up for applications open the doors
Tons of cars are parked into the lot of the store
And the men fall prey to the hunger
Calling to them from below

Restaurant is packed and you will make up your mind
If you want lattes or an order of fries
And you hear the sound of somebody
Burning their hand on the grill

Wait in line and fight the demons
Inside your stomach
Seems like forever until you get to
Order your food
Frustrating yes it is it makes you
Want to shout out curse words
Your soul will feel no mercy from the clerk

Cry out for the fell customers
Fainted from the wait
And the hunger deep inside
And it makes you want to cry

Bite into steaming burgers dripping with ketchup
This mirage will haunt your mind and torture you no end
Oh, this line will make you want to guillotine your head off
On towards the restaurant they
Cook for the rich and the hungry
Hamburger!

Searching through the dollar menus looking for more
Leaving all the others behind your hungered storm
And the ground shakes because your stomach
Growls like hibernating bears

Hunger's getting larger, and you're ready to fall
Just imagine what it's like if this was a mall
And you feel like plowing through people
To get your hands on some grub

Deafened by the stupid music
Playing from the jukebox
Ronald McDonald is in the playroom
Kick him in butt!!!
This line has gotten longer, and I'm
Right here shouting curse words
We stare into the dollar menu sign

Hold on to your discount coupons
Never to let go
And the fires of the stove
And the filling buns and loaves

Bite into steaming burgers dripping with ketchup
This mirage will haunt your mind and torture you no end
This line will make you want to guillotine your head off
On towards the restaurant they
Cook for the rich and the hungry
Hamburger!

(Unnecessarily long guitar solo)

Storm through to the front of the line
Order up some food
Hope the five-o don't find out
Or I'll land in the big house

Bite into steaming burgers dripping with ketchup
This mirage will haunt your mind and torture you no end
This line will make you want to guillotine your head off
On towards the restaurant they
Cook for the rich and the hungry
Hamburger!

HAMBURGER!!!! HAMBURGER!!!!

Rock on to Mickey D's! Will those customers make it out there alive? You probably know this, but the song you used to parody on is one of the songs in Guitar Hero 3. It would be cool if they put your parody in that game! LOL!! Here's 5 Big Macs, 5 Large Fries, and 5 Large Sodas! Hope you'll make it out of the restaurant alive!

Thanks once again, Christie! Yes, Deathsquad was downloadable content for GH3, although I never got to play it because I only have a PS2. Dragonforce are arguably my favorite band, and this is arguably my favorite parody. I'll do some more Dragonforce parodies later on. Until then, HAMBURGER!!! And... thanks for viewing my parodies and commenting all of them except Ouendan (because you probably don't know the game or the original song.)

I find this ironic... you probably won't, but.... this is probably my favorite parody, and I've only gotten one comment on it? :(

Correction: There should be an "oh" before the second and third lines about guillotining my head off. Just wanted to add that before I submit it for ABC.

HAMBURGER! This got funnier as it progressed...great chorus, although some might be asking for different choruses. The urgency of the munchies matched well with the intense speed of the OS,.:D

Thanks, Agri! I agree about the choruses, this was the very first parody I wrote BTW.

Dragonforce has some wicked chops! This parody was pretty great too even though McDonalds parodies are very common this had it's own branch of originality that made it great! There's Ronald McDonald... Kick him in the butt!!!

I don't know, if I was hungry I don't think McDonalds would be my first choice. Matty. . .I think you've had too many chicken nuggets--I think they put crack in those things, they are addictive even though you know your stomach will punish you for it later. . .:D

(ABC5) Yeah, varied choruses would've been awesome, but as is it's still pretty awesome. If that makes any sense. Which I don't think it does. Erm...555, have a nice day!

ABC5(QR) Loved the way you matched the urgent tone of the OS with the urgent need to satisfy hunger!...Nice work on this!!!...555!!!

(ABC) way to vent spleen with "Unnecessarily long guitar solo" DJ - lol - and I've always thought that the trouble with Macdonalds is the the clerks don't show enough mercy to people's souls - 555

I know for sure that I commented on this earlier today. Not sure where the comment went.

DIng! fries are done! BR>
Wrong parody. and wrong fast food burger joint. One of the better Micky-D themed parodies. Fine job DJ.

Thnaks for the heads up that my comment was missing for the comps. Also I see you have an email account now. I sent you a howdy email - did you get it? OK - One happy meal to go then sir? $5.55 please.

Never heard TOS until now; thanks for introducing me to it. Well done, though as mentioned above, varied choruses would have made this a bit better.

(ABC) I have never heard this song before, and you use it very well! Many funny spots. I found myself dancing in my seat to the overly long instrumental, but in the end, yes, the break is way too long. I didn't mind at all the repeated, unvaried chorus. Good job! 5-5-5. (Next time, you might mark where the long instrumental break begins and ends.)
