Why are there laws against suicide? Has anyone ever been convicted? Do they put you in jail? Execute you?

DKTOS, don't care for Britney, but this was some really perceptive commentary, and "Killing myself is how I live" was a great line. Three SuiFives.

Reply to TT: Yep, my father was convicted-well kinda--what they do is if you survive, since obviously that's not suicide, they charge you with "Attempted Suicide", it makes as much sense as Seat Belt Laws and Helmet Laws (Both of which I use by CHOICE), if someone is really that dangerous with his or her life, their choice. . .and yet Smoking, Drinking, Fried Food and Unprotected Sex with Random Strangers are all legal . . .so I guess Suicide is legal. . .just not in the sense mentioned within this song. . . For the song, this one is paced better than your parody of Boys. . .Britney must have really angered you:)

BAD: I assume they didn't execute him -- did they put him in jail? Is a jail term supposed to make you want to live?... Very sorry about your father, but I agree the suicide laws make no sense at all.

At the time I was confused, didn't know which was worse, the fact that he intentionally took a dozen sleeping pills before heading to work (He's a Truck Driver) or the fact that he lived and got sentenced to a temp stay at the looney bin (A Pysch ward in the hospital--no rediculous white outfit, but none the less he wasn't allowed out) I kinda turned my back on him after he tried to slit his throat in front of me and turned to writing poetry to keep my mind of things, now a decade later. . .the image of his blood dripping is still in my mind, but alas, I am not suicidal and if I was I wouldn't fail TWICE or put other people through it. . .back to happy thoughts. . .so how art thou today err--tonight
