Original Song Title:

"I Miss You"

Original Performer:

Blink 182

Parody Song Title:

"I Miss My Horse"

Parody Written by:

SI-MAE

The Lyrics

"Hey! This wasn't the first of our Ideas, but this was the first one to submit. Anyway, this is story of a woman who steals her boyfriend's horse, Crimson, and uses him for a horse race. If you read this, please vote on it and drop a comment!"-Crystal Shades, Lead Vocal for SI-MAE
{Really long instrumental introduction. The song's half over before anyone starts singing}

Vocals- Icy

Hello there, Girl who stole my nice mare,
You lying, stealing, e'r conniving w****,
I never suspected this crime,
From the woman I was seeing,
We can go cross-country skiing if you want to,
But first give me my horse back,
I'll sue you just then after,
And then one day I'll ride Crimson again, ride Crimson again...

{"I miss him, miss him" repeated several times}

{Another long instrumental}

Vocals- Maya

Where are you?
And I'm not sorry,
I still can sleep, with pleasant dreams tonight,
I needed Crimson for racing,
And when he lost it, I sold him for a dollar ninety-nine,
And as he lost I counted,
The furlongs on the racetrack,
On a guess, it looked like 17,
This very oversized racetrack,
and watching purebreds losing,
Won't you quit crying and take it like a man, take it like a man?

"Don't waste your time trying to find Crimson, He's just now been sold off {I miss him, miss him...}" Repeated 6 times

Personally, this sounded like some kind of story or personal story that you experienced before or something. I really did not know what it was about. However, you definately did extremely good with the rhyming, pacing, etc. You deserve good for that. So, good job!

Sorry, I just didn't 'feel' this one. I liked the 'seeing/skiing' bit but apart from that didn't find the rhyming that impressive or humorous. 4-2-3

Gah! No! I had nothing to do with this parody! It was all Icy and Maya! All them! We've been taken down a peg! NOOOO! Eh, what can you do?Thanks for reading and staying polite!

it my nice mare. a mare is a girl and the whole song refers to a boy horse

Gee, M-Dawg, who's the horse nerd? In this day and age, the horse may have undergone surgery of sorts so that the she became he. This surgery may have happened at a horse-pital. (Ha! So witty! So witty!) You are welcome, Father Edmund. I always believe that you should always criticise people politely. What does SI-MAE stand for? Some obscure mix of Ice and Maya?

The pacing could be a lot better and the lyrics less strange, but the cross-country skiing line caught me off-guard and really made me laugh. I bestow upon you the number three in triplicate.

Yo! What's up, my people? In response to Jake A Ralphing's question, SI-MAE is actually larger then just Maya and me. We also consist of 3 others known as Father Edmund, Crystal Shades, and Apricot. The name SI-MAE is really kind of a mystery to us. It was coined by Crystal, and orginally stood for "Song is Irritating Me Always, Everyone!", or "Song Irritates Me and Everyone". We don't really hate all the songs we spoof, it's just a name. One day, we thought about it, and realized that SI-MAE went deeper, totally by accident. Look at our band names. S- Shades, from Crystal I- Icy M- Maya A- Apricot E- Edmund, from the Father Creepy, huh? We didn't realize it until a few days ago, when Apricot pointed it out. If you like this one, we should have a new one up soon. It's a spoof of 5-For-Fighting's "100 Years". Father Edmund's working on this one. Anyhow, peaches. Thanks for posting! Thank you for your votes and comments! This was our only song that didn't get any spiteful 1,1,1s yet. We hope it stays that way.

After reading your lyrics and some of the more interesting comments I come to several conclusions. I love the gender confused horse named Crimson. Growing up as a mare, but secretly knowing she was a stallion inside must have been rough. Then to be taken away from the one person who always treated you like you were a champion Like SEABISCUIT! Ah, the pathos! Serious, a well woven tale, although I haven't a clue what the original song was like. Some may say a horse is a horse of course, but only to those who have never had the pleasure of owning one or riding one.

That's a damn good story. I might have to read something of yours just for that.
