The Lyrics

She was a boy
He was a girl
Can I make them more transsexual?
She was a dyke
He did ballet
They both were so gay
He wanted boys
She'd never tell
Secretly she wanted girls as well
But all of their friends
Stuck up their nose
They had a problem with their sexual roles

He was a choirboy
She said you're a liar boy
I know what you really are
You steal all my makeup
And don't leave the seat up
And you were trying on my bra

Five years from now
She tells a joke
Telling herself that it's bad to smoke
She turns on TV
Guess who she sees
Choirboy rocking on queer as folk
She calls up her friends
They already know
And they are disgusted at the show
She goes to his work
She looks around
Looks up at the woman that she turned down

He was a choirboy
She said you're a liar boy
You're what you wished you were
Keep messing with your hair
Work on the pout and glare
And they'll believe you are a girl

Sorry boys but you missed out
Well tough luck that girl's mine now
We are more than just gay friends
This is how the story ends
Too bad that you couldn't see
See the girl that boy could be
There is more than meets the eye
I see the skank that is inside

He's just a girl
And I'm just a girl
Can I make it any more obvious?
We are in love
Haven't you heard?
How we rock each other's worlds

I'm with the choirboy
No longer a liar boy
I know who he really is
He went under the knife
Now we're each other's wife
But I know we can't have kids

I'm with the choirgirl
I said you're no liar girl
I'll see you after the show
I'll be in the studio
Singing that song we wrote
About a boy we used to know.

Very very amusing parody. Great lyrics, really funny. One problem though: I don't see any connection between 'transgendered' and 'choir boy.' I suppose I would be a choir boy, being in several choral groups. It's a lot of fun. If you called me a geek, or a nerd, or even a loser because of it, I'd agree with you. But gay? Where do you get gay out of it? Sorry, just my random rant of the week. Anyway, good just on the parody.

no malicious intent was upon my mind whilst writing this parody. It was after I watched the will and grace matt damon episode where he has to pretend he's gay to get into choir...

The only thing gay here is your gay parody

One of the best Avril rewrites. Better than my own "Failure Boy" about Bush and "Jeter Boy" about Derek somebody (which I didn't post here because it was too dumb to pass this board). Of course, the Will & Grace inside joke was a whole lot funnier before Matt Damon's pal Ben Affleck hired Jenny from the Block as his "beard."
