Parody Song Title:

"Lubricated"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Kind of a sequel to my Sk8er Boi/Latex Toi parody
Uh huh life's a bitch
Uh huh uh huh, that's the way it is

Ow ow ow, 'cause life's a bitch
Ouch, ow ow ow, that's the way it is

Calm down, whatcha screaming for?
Oh dear, that looks really sore
You know, I really think there should have been
Vaseline
Too bad, you ran out of luck
So sad, looks like you got stuck
And you're saying it again, that you're in pain

Ain't no surprise there's tears in your eyes
You're hurting like hell, you should have used gel
You didn't even try to find some KY to use
You tell me

[Chorus:]
No-one ever told me that it had to be lubricated
Hurts like hell there's
Tears in my eyes I realize I'm getting lacerated
Ain't life a bitch
And I'm stuck I say ...oops
And I curse as it burst
And I mind that I cannot find repair kit
I'm pumping it
It's never gonna get inflated
Ow, ow, ow

You come, maybe not today
Undressed, you can't stay that way
And when we take you off, you will be
In casualty
Maybe, we'll get on your pants
To take you to the ambulance
You know you're not going anywhere
With *that* in *there*

Ain't no surprise there's tears in your eyes
You're hurting like hell, you should have used gel
You didn't even try, to find some KY to use
You tell me

[Chorus]
Ow, ow, ow
Ow, ow, ow
Ow, ow, ow

Calm down, whatcha screaming for?
Oh no, you're bleeding on the floor
And if we can find some scissors we
Will cut you free

Ain't no surprise there's tears in your eyes
It's hurting like hell, you should have used gel
You didn't even try, to find some KY to use
You tell me

[Chorus]*2

U R A PERVERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phil Alexander - April 17, 2003 - Report this comment
Pervert? No, not really... lets face it, if the parody authors here had to do or even believe in all the stuff they wrote, there'd be an awful lot fewer parodies...

It's just a simple idea taken to a somewhat eye-watering extreme: the basic idea for it came when I was writing the L8ex Toi parody, but it took till now before I listened through the original, and the parody kind of wrote itself. Has a sort of Tom Sharpe feel to it, don't you think?

I think you have captured an *essencial* quality of parody here- the skewering of the work of any *serious* writer. Keeps 'em honest J.R..

Ah, here is the non-recorded version! Much more pleasant on the ears and still a gem! 555 and well deserved my man.

Phil, I was looking through your author page for something else I thought you did by this artist and stumbled across this one. Unlike the unfortunate character involved this one went in all the way - real smooth. 5-5-5.

Do you mind me asking what you were looking for, Paul?
Paul Robinson - June 14, 2004 - Report this comment
Phil, Not at all. Actually I was looking for a specific group of comments made on one you did about one of the young artists of the present day . It had gotten a TON of votes and comments. I couldn't remember off-hand WHICH one but I knew if a scanned your list of parodies I would find the one with OVER 200 votes easily enough. But I started scanning by looking at parodies of songs by young, female artists and saw you had a couple Avril Lavigne's so even though they weren't the ones I took a look anyway, since I knew her songs from the first album. Anyway, it was the "I Hate Brittney Spears" parody done to Joan Jett & The Blackhawks "I Love Rock & Roll". Some lovesick boy Brittney fan had reacted to a negative remark about Brittney by accusing our writers of the fairer gender of all being jealous and then made a bunch of ugly, malicious, sexist remarks about the female writers here on the site and I felt compelled to take him to task. I wanted to refresh my memory of what I said...never know when it might come in handy again. Thanks, Paul

Thanks, Stuart - Yes, I'd love to turn this one into a video... but I doubt it'll happen, somehow ;-) If you're interested, there's a mp3 download available at http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/philalexandermusic.htm (you need to sign up for Soundclick, but it's free)
