The Lyrics

This is my first parody (and it would appear to be the Aquabats' first parody too), so please give me feedback. I did the best I could considering my having done this without any rewrites or quotes from the movie (many of which would have been quite bleepable).

I have a nerd friend
Who likes web humor
And found a great one
About a 9-year-old kid
With his Google Video
We waited for it to load

It was a clan match
But then you could hear
His mother trying to get him off
He doesn't understand why
Xbox Live is supposed to be bad
And why he can't get his drink

He was yelling

That his mother was being a jerk
He said he wanted chocolate milk

Wow, King Crimson and the Aquabats in the same day! Congrats on your first parody, Shakko. Your pacing needs work, but that's typical of new parodists. As for the funny factor, I felt like I was reading someone else's in-joke, so maybe there's something I was missing. Try some more, we all get better with practice!

The inside joke is available on Google Video; just get on the site, search for xbox live or something like that and get treated to The Chocolate Milk Kid! It is available on other sites, but only as a download.
