The Lyrics

This is for Peter Andersson's ONE WEEK NOTICE challenge (Week 5) hosted by yours truly! Excited to see what you all came up with for this round!
We've snatched all Taylor Swift's tunes
While logged onto Limewire!
We're File-Traders who're at risk
With all the treasures we've acquired!
Might wind up on a gurney
T-Swizzle's lawyers will go nuts!
Since all my stuff's illegal, man
We thirst for stolen games and such!
Committing scandals in bathrobes
We'll blow our motherboards!
Snagging millions of Torrents
And satisfying all my whims!

Steal all those movies and records!
Artists frown due to my downloads!
Forget cash cards and the bank
With a click of my thumb my collection grows!
Steal all those programs from suckers!
Soon I'll drown in my pilfered shows
Desktop masters gotta yank
Every stupid sitcom without spending dough!

Think I'm insane for what I've done?!
I'll grin because I've saved with Dell
Directors want to kick my ass
And rock stars always b*tch and yell
The sparks will fly since they will smash
My mobile phone cause I'm a troll
You spent money on that crap?!
I've caused mayhem where the WiFi flows
I'll crash at Starbucks with my blokes
We'll whip out our keyboards
Brag as we snatch up Ke$ha's hits
As we keep frying circuit chips

Steal all those movies and records!
Gripped a mound while our spending's low!
My Mac's dashboard's far from blank!
Since that Pirate Bay runs here in my abode!
Steal all those classics like "Frogger"
PlayStation, X-Box, Nintendo!
"BioShock" or that "Sims" game
We'll have hours of fun without cash to blow!

Online we're vandalous and broke
Packed with Ethernet cords!
Chuck me straight into the brig
But don't you touch my laptop, Pig!

Reeled in those movies and records!
Cops cracked-down when they searched my home
Caused disastors when I snagged
A whole buncha junk and my cell door closed!
Reeled in those comics from vendors!
Manga's found here on Google Chrome!
Now I'm wrapped up tight with chains!
Think this hobby's humdrum?! Then you will be hosed!

* To coincide with the original song's pacing STEEL and REELED should be pronounced (Still) and (Rilled)...

Nicely done, especially for melding today's meaning of 'pirate' into it and incorporating the tech jargon throughout without being too techy.

I'm most impressed that you don't mentioned pirating any internet porn, especially since I've learned from basically all sources ever that pirates are supposed to have at least one limb of hard wood.

Well I had the line "Desktop masters gotta yank" in here so at least we're on the same page lol Thanks guys!
